Actress Hwang Jung-eum gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday.

"Hwang gave birth on Tuesday evening. Both the mother and the baby are healthy, and are resting", said her management agency in a press release.
"I am happy to deliver a healthy baby, and I cannot be happier that he was born on Liberation Day. I thank everyone who sent their blessings to my family", Hwang said.
Hwang married professional golfer turned businessman Lee Young-don in February last year.
