The new year opens on a note of heart-fluttering romance as Netflix announces the premiere date for its upcoming Korean rom-com series "Can This Love Be Translated?". Arriving January 16, the story follows a delightfully topsy-turvy romance between Joo Ho-jin, a multilingual interpreter, and Cha Moo-hee, a world-famous celebrity.

Beloved by fans for his roles in "When Life Gives You Tangerines", "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha", and "Start Up", Kim Seon-ho stars as Ho-jin, bringing both charm and heart to the character. Opposite him is Go Youn-jung, a rising global favorite from "Sweet Home", "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow", and "Resident Playbook". Together, their lovely chemistry is already sparking great excitement as a swoon-worthy kickoff to the new year.

Furthermore, "Can This Love Be Translated?" is written by the Hong Sisters, Hong Jeong-eun and Hong Mi-ran - the iconic duo behind "Alchemy of Souls", "Hotel Del Luna", and "Master's Sun" - and directed by Yoo Yeong-eun-I ("Bloody Heart"), known for her elegant mise-en-scène and emotional storytelling.
