Actress Shin Ae-ra will raise awareness of adoption.

Shin was appointed a promotional ambassador for Korean Adoption Services, the agency said on Thursday.

Shin, who adopted two girls in 2005 and 2007 after giving birth to her son, will work to raise awareness of parenting and adoption-related issues.
