Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is considering the new SBS drama "Dr. Romantic 2".

Star House Entertainment revealed on the 24th that Ahn Hyo-seop has been offered a starring role in "Dr. Romantic 2".

Ahn Hyo-seop was mentioned for the role of Kim Woo-jin, a surgical genius. If he accepts, he will be co-starring alongside Han Suk-kyu, who plays the titular oddball genius doctor.

The first season of "Dr. Romantic" told the story of Kim Sa-bu and his fellow passionate doctors Kang Dong-joo (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Yoon Seo-jeong (Seo Hyun-jin) in the miserable background of Doldam Hospital.

Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin won't be starring in the second season.

Season 2 is being produced and written by Yoo In-sik and Kang Eun-kyeong from season 1. The drama is due in November.
