Ahn's Film Scores in China

Veteran actor Ahn Sung-ki is proving his cinema power in China.
His film "A Battle of Wits", which hit Chinese theaters on November 23rd, has been number one at the box office for three weeks.
Ticket sales reached 100 million yuan in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan during the three weeks since its release to make it the top hit movie for the year's latter half.
In the historical film on seige warfare, Ahn plays a general opposite Andy Lau, who commands a 100,000 strong army of the Jo kingdom.
The Chinese media have hailed Ahn's performance as his greatest acting role.
The film's commerical and critical success is expected to further solidify his status in Asia. Battle of Wits opens in Korea January 11th.
