Bae Suzy May Star in "Ashfall" as Ha Jung-woo's Wife

Bae Suzy is considering in the movie "Ashfall". She plays the wife of Ha Jung-woo who struggles to preserve Ashfall, a volcanic mountain.

"Ashfall" is the tale of people who endeavor to stop the volcano of Ashfall from errupting. Director Kim Yong-hwa will direct the production, and directors Lee Hae-joon and Kim Byeong-seo will co-direct the production.

Several big names have already signed on. Lee Byung-hun takes on the role of a Northern agent trying to stop the explosion and Ha Jung-woo is a Southern agent while Ma Dong-seok is a scientist. Jeon Hye-jin-II has also been confirmed.

Bae Suzy made her debut as Miss A in 2010. When she landed in a leading role in the movie "Architecture 101", she shook Hallyu. Then she starred in several dramas such as "Dream High", "Uncontrollably Fond", "While You Were Sleeping - 2017" and she's currently filming the drama "Vagabond".

"Ashfall" begins filming in early 2019.
