Our favorite comic movie star Cha Tae-hyun was awarded "Korean Wave Award" at the 45th annual Daejong Film Festival for the movie "BA:BO" being most popular across Asia.

Cha Tae-hyun confessed that he and the staff were so worried because the movie could not be released for two years! He thanked on behalf of the staff to the Japanese fans for loving the movie and allowing the award to happen.

He also said that there are other movies that are not being released yet and wishes everything will turn out well for those to see the light.

The movie "BA:BO" was voted through the internet by Japanese fans on The Korean Movie International Fan Association: KIFA.
