SBS new drama "Today's Webtoon" is a drama about a former judo player, On Ma-eum who gives up his lifelong sport due to injury and struggles to grow into a true webtoon editor after getting a job in the webtoon editing department.

Choi Daniel plays Seok Ji-hyeong, the assistant editor of the webtoon editing department. He often makes silly jokes or bets with a poker face but he is a reliable mentor who silently supports On Ma-eum (Kim Sejeong) from behind even when he hits her with facts. When working, webtoon writers and a number of juniors depend on him for guidance.

Therefore, through this work, a lot of attention is being paid to Choi Daniel, who is about to make a comeback in the small screen after four years. Having been loved for his unlimited acting spectrum across genres, he has shown extraordinary performance by enriching the drama with extraordinary chemistry with the other actors as well as his wide acting skills. In the meantime, expectations are high on how he will work with Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon-su, who have previously confirmed their appearance.

Meanwhile, "Today's Webtoon" is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
