Concert presents star's favorite music

A concert will be held at the Saitama Super Arena near Tokyo on Saturday to mark the release of "BYJ Classics Hero", a classical music album containing music pieces selected by Korean Wave star Bae Yong-joon, known in Japan as Yonsama. The album was released on Dec. 25 last year.

Under the baton of Korean-Japanese conductor Kim Seong-hyang, the Tokyo Philharmonic Symphony will present some of Bae's favorite classics at the concert, dually themed "Passion" and "Hero".

"BYJ Classics Hero" includes 13 classical pieces such as Beethoven's Symphony No. 3, Op. 55 "Eroica". Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to charities at Bae's request.
