Girl group Crayon Pop and singer Kim Jang-hoon have joined forces to support firefighters by releasing a collaborative song in their honor called "Hero".
Sporting loose red jackets and alarm sirens, the girls held a press event in Seoul on Wednesday to mark the release of the new single. They said they jumped on Kim's suggestion that they work together on a song aimed at raising awareness of the dangers firefighters are often exposed to as well as their heroic status.
All of the proceeds will be used to help those who serve in this profession and improve their working conditions.
Firefighters and their families, as well as other rescue service workers, were invited to attend their free concert on Sunday at Ajou University in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
