According to an exclusive report by Ilgan Sports on June 13, Jang Seo-hee, who gained immense popularity through the hit drama "Temptation of Wife", has been cast as the lead in "Trap of Desire", the follow-up to the currently airing KBS2 daily drama "Red Pearl". The series is being prepared for an August premiere.

Throughout her career, Jang Seo-hee has showcased her powerful screen presence and solid acting skills in numerous dramas, including "Miss Mermaid" and "Temptation of Wife", earning her the nickname 'Queen of Revenge Dramas'. As a result, anticipation is growing over what kind of character and storyline she will bring to her new project.

Trap of Desire is particularly meaningful as it marks Jang Seo-hee's return to a terrestrial television drama following MBC's "Game of Witches", which concluded in 2023. It will also be her first appearance in a KBS drama in 12 years since "Title for Members Only" in 2014.
