Lim Young-joo to Star in "The Hidden Hikikomori Master: Tae Baek-ho"

Lim Young-joo has been cast in the new drama "The Hidden Hikikomori Master: Tae Baek-ho".

Lim Young-joo will appear as "Boss" in the series, which is set to premiere on April 16th via KT Genie TV.

Produced by 37th Degree, "The Hidden Hikikomori Master: Tae Baek-ho" is a youth healing comic investigative drama that follows a quirky and heartwarming rescue team helping socially withdrawn individuals who have cut themselves off from the world. The story centers on an unofficial civilian organization called the "Recluse Masters Foundation", whose problem-solving team tackles different cases of recluses in each episode, blending humorous yet touching moments throughout their missions.

In the drama, Lim Young-joo plays the leader of the team and a veteran fixer known as boss. Although she appears confident and socially adept, she secretly struggles with perfectionism and hides her timid, introverted nature, adding depth and contrast to her character.

Lim Young-joo has steadily built her filmography through various short films and gained recognition through projects such as "True Beauty", "My Lovely Boxer", and "Dare to Love Me", as well as the film "ABROAD". She has also appeared in numerous commercials and starred in the drama-version music video for "Gradation" by 10cm.

Last year, she showcased strong chemistry with Mun Ka-young in the drama "My Dearest Nemesis", playing the role of Choi Nana, an employee in a department store planning team. She also demonstrated a bold acting transformation in the film "LOST - Movie" as Choi Sol, an 18-year-old runaway, and further proved her range in the drama "Our Golden Days" as Oh Soo-jeong, the best friend of Jung In-sun.

"The Hidden Hikikomori Master: Tae Baek-ho" was released on April 16th via KT Genie TV and will also be simultaneously streamed on Indonesia's OTT platform Vidio.
