A representative from her agency confirmed to Newsen on April 20th, stating, "Shin Se-kyung will be making a special appearance in the drama "Nightmare - Drama"".

Set to premiere in 2027, SBS's new drama "Nightmare - Drama" is directed by Lee Dan and written by Kim Gyoo-won. The series follows a vigilante group that imprisons criminals, those who cannot be punished by law, not in real-world prisons, but in nightmares. It explores a fantastical form of justice as these individuals cross the boundaries between dreams and reality.

Kim Nam-gil and Lee Yoo-mi have been cast in the lead roles, heightening anticipation. Kim Nam-gil will play Kim Tae-i, a detective returning to the Nambu Police Station after a long undercover mission, while Lee Yoo-mi will portray Jang Gyoo-eun, a colleague of Kim Tae-i and a victim-support officer at the same station.

Shin Se-kyung is set to take on the role of a detective in the integrated investigation team, a character who helped Kim Tae-i endure his undercover life.

Meanwhile, Shin Se-kyung recently drew significant attention for her melodramatic performance alongside Park Jung-min in the film "HUMINT".
