Fans Celebrate Boy Band Member's Birthday with Billboard Ads

A series of giant billboard ads featuring Kang Daniel, a member of K-pop boy band Wanna One, appeared in Times Square, New York on Monday.

The ads containing video clips were set up by his fans in celebration of his upcoming birthday and will light the streets until this weekend when he turns 22.
His fans also paid to put over 30 ads in subway stations in Seoul, as well as his hometown Busan.
