"The Plot" is a movie about Yeong-il (Gang Dong-won), a 'plotter' who manipulates the commissioned murder of a contractor into a perfect accident, being caught up in an unexpected incident.
Lee Jong-suk, who has shown his irreplaceable character digestibility in every work, including the drama "Big Mouth", which won the MBC Drama Awards in 2022, "Romance is a Bonus Book", "While You Were Sleeping", the movies "The Face Reader", "V.I.P", and "Decibel", will make a special appearance as Yeong-il's longtime colleague Jak-noon in "The Plot" to breathe into the work.
Like Yeong-il, Jak-noon who is called a can, which means an invincible person who does not exist in the world on paper, is a person who has a lot of influence on Yeong-il and he brings the audience one step closer to the inner side of Yeong-il
Lee Jong-suk is expected to attract the audience with his unique character digestibility to complete his soft charm, Jak-noon which is contrary to Yeong-il, a cool-headed perfectionist.
Director Lee Yo-sup said, "If Gang Dong-won is black, I wanted to find someone with white-like existence, and Lee Jong-suk was the most suitable. You will be able to see the specialness of the two actors on the screen when they are in the frame", so Lee Jong-suk is expected to provide special fun by completing brilliant chemistry with Gang Dong-won.
"The Plot" will be released on May 29th.
