Kang Bi-oh (Song Kang), an elite perfectionist burdened by intense anxiety, has spent his life on a rigid path to mastery. In contrast, Choi Jeong-yo (Lee Jun-young) is a free-spirited, instinctive talent whose raw emotion and warmth spark a completely different kind of brilliance. As their opposing styles clash on the keys, a fierce dynamic erupts between them. What begins as an intense rivalry soon transforms into a coming-of-age story-pushing both students to break through their limits and discover the true meaning of friendship and artistic growth.

This is my first time exploring classical music and coming of age in the same story, and I was fortunate to do so with such a wonderful cast. Just as 'four hands' refers to two people playing one piano together, the series follows young musicians on a shared journey toward their dreams.

Actor Song Kang (Kang Bi-oh)

Kang Bi-oh is someone whose entire life revolves around the piano. Despite winning countless awards, he never feels he is good enough and constantly pushes himself to improve. At the same time, he carries a sense of emptiness within. Having lived only for himself, he meets Jeong-yo at 17 and discovers a new rival - and new limits. That experience brings out emotions he has never felt before.

Choi Jeong-yo once saw the piano almost as a friend, but something causes him to walk away from it. After meeting Kang Bi-oh, he begins to face both the emotions he had been avoiding and the piano itself, and gradually starts to grow. Of all the characters I've played, he has one of the widest emotional ranges.

Actress Jang Gyuri (Hong Jae-in)

Hong Jae-in is a bright, confident viola major with such a keen musical ear that she immediately recognizes Bi-oh and Jeong-yo's talent just by hearing them play. She supports Bi-oh's dream while also recognizing Jeong-yo's potential.
