Girl Band After School Poised for Japanese Debut

The Japanese press is excited about the imminent debut of Korean girl group After School there.

The Sankei Sports said After School is like a combination of Kara and Girls' Generation, while the Sports Hochi cited it as another girl band likely to take Japan by storm with their supermodel-like appearance and performance.

After School are scheduled to hold a showcase on July 17, and release a single album in Japan on Aug. 17.
