Actor Gong Yoo is considering Jung Woo-sung's Netflix Original Series "The Silent Sea".

"The Silent Sea" is based on an original short film of the same name and it is a science fiction thriller about a handpicked soldier who travels to the moon for samples based on the backdrop of Earth, which has run out of food and water.
Gong Yoo was offered the role of Yoon-jae, a space agency soldier and team leader. Bae Doona, Lee Jun-hyuk and Kim Sun-young have been cast ahead.
"The Silent Sea" is produced by Jung Woo-sung and directed by Choi Hang-yong, who produced the original. It is written by Park Eun-kyo. The work will be created into 8 episodes and begin filming in August.
