Actor Gyul Hwi has been picked up for the role of detective Choi Seok-goo in the Park Sang-hyun-III film "Innocence".

"Innocence" is about Hwa-ja (Bae Jong-ok), who doesn't recognize faces, who is suspected of poisoning someone to death. Her daughter Jung-in (Shin Hae-sun) decides to defend her mother and reveal the truth behind the case. It is director Park Sang-hyun-III's first commercial movie.
Gyul Hwi plays detective Choi Seok-goo from Choongchung-do.
Gyul Hwi started off in theater in Daehangno and has a good amount of experience in acting. He appeared in movies "Default", "A Taxi Driver", "Okja" and "The Prison" as well as the drama "Prison Playbook".
In 2019, he starred in "Hit-and-Run Squad" and he plans on starring in the OCN drama "Trap - Drama" as an ethnic Korean with a story.
