[HanCinema's News] "Brave Citizen" Hits South Korean on-demand Services

THis past November 17th, "Brave Citizen" made its debut on South Korean on-demand services. The high school action film stars Shin Hye-sun as a boxer turned teacher who must discipline an unruly student gang led by Lee Jun-young's character. "Brave Citizen" has had modest box office returns of 265,380 admissions. The film is projected to do better via on-demand formats due to its genre premise.

IPTV, Digital Cable TV, Satellite TV, Naver Series On, wavve, and Google Play are among the services that are offering the film. International distribution rights for "Brave Citizen" were confirmed as sold back in early November, with Taiwan, Vietnam, and Cambodian distributors expecting to release the movie in those territories by the end of the month. "Brave Citizen" is based on the South Korean webtoon of the same title.
