[HanCinema's News] "Business Proposal" Webtoon Sees Huge Boost in International Popularity

The Kakao Entertainment intellectual property "Business Proposal" has seen a big boost to its assorted fortunes worldwide ever since broadcast started of the television drama version of the story. "Business Proposal" is now the most popular webtoon in Thailand for the past two weeks, and the most popular webtoon in Indonesia and Taiwan for the last three weeks. The news comes in the wake of the "Business Proposal" television drama breaking the 10% rating threshhold in the domestic South Korean market.

Worldwide, the "Business Proposal" television drama also broke into the global Netflix non-English top ten for the first time last week, with the show having logged 15,900,000 hours viewed from March 7th to March 13th. But the numbers for webtoon traffic are even more dramatic, with "Business Proposal" increasing in popularity tenfold in the regions where data is available for tracking its popularity. "Business Proposal" started broadcasting on February 28th and aired its sixth episode on March 15th.
