[HanCinema's News] Choo So-young Confirms Pregnancy

On July 6th Choo So-young made a post to her Instagram confirming her pregnancy. While the picture in question did not obviously seem to show that Choo So-young was pregnant, the hastag 임밍아웃 was included, which roughly translates to #preggerout in English. Choo So-young can be seen smiling and touching her belly in the photo. In the text of the post, Choo So-young writes that she is about fourteen weeks pregnant.

Choo So-young has not appeared in any screen dramas or films since 2015, and the announcement likely would have gone unnoticed except that Uhm Hyun-kyung, an actress who is still working, congratulated Choo So-young while calling the older woman her sister. The two last appeared together in the daily evening soap opera "Mother's Garden" back in 2014. Choo So-young married a stage actor back in 2016, and this will be their first child together.
