[HanCinema's News] "Crazy Romance" Hits 1.5 Million Viewers
By William Schwartz | Published on
On October 9th "Crazy Romance" passed 1.5 million viewers at the domestic South Korean box office. The film is in an excellent position to challenge the current record set by "Architecture 101" of over 4 million viewers for a romantic genre film, as competition has remained weak over the one-off Hangeul Day holiday on October 9th.

"Crazy Romance" has obtained strong attention from viewers thanks to its focus on a non-traditional story. The lead characters are coming off of relationships that have failed for very different reasons, and the film's dark humor deals in the serious suggestion of how traditional romantic ideals may in fact be completely unrealistic. The movie opened on October 2nd.
