On April 19th the Korea Tourism Organization released details of a fan event that had taken place in Taiwan two days prior on April 17th. The event was notable for having maximum attendance, around three hundred fifty people, in spite of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. The Korea Tourist Organization held the event in part to commemorate the release of "SEOBOK" starring Gong Yoo and Park Bo-gum, and also to discuss upcoming Korean cultural products.

Another important part of the presentation was going into the various shooting locations that are used to film various dramas. From "The King" and "Kingdom" the Bidulginang Waterfalls and the Ahopsan Forest were both discussed. Literally, these locations translate as the Dove Sac Waterfalls and the Nine Mountain Forest in English. Photo zones for "Hotel Del Luna" and "Itaewon Class" were also presented so attendees could snap pictures of themselves.
The Korea Tourism Organization planned the event in part to encourage people to make South Korea their first choice for vacation destination once the pandemic comes to an end. Representatives for the KTO said that despite the overall downturn, the popularity of South Korean entertainment overseas has put them in a strong position for an expected surge in travel. Taiwan in particular was cited as a fairly strong region for executing such a strategy.
