This offering is, by film festival standards, an extremely accurate depiction of the current mainstream box office in South Korea. All five films were major releases intended primarily for domestic consumption. They also encompass a wide variety of genres, from comedy to drama, historical to present day, legal to financial, and low-brow to high-brow humor.
The Spring Showcase will take place from April 5th to April 14th in Honolulu. The full film festival will be held in November of this year.
