[HanCinema's News] Hwang Minhyun's Fans Warned Against Visiting Actor at Work
By William Schwartz | Published on
On June 29th, Hwang Minhyun's agency PLEDIS Entertainment filed a post on the actor and singer's Weverse page commenting on the increasing fan presence on actor's work schedule. PLEDIS Entertainment noted that fans have been appearing at places of interest on the artist's non-public schedule. PLEDIS Entertainment did not make it clear which workplace fans had been appearing at, noting only that such intrusions had been increasing in severity.

It seems likely this is in reference to the upcoming television drama "My Lovely Liar" where Hwang Minhyun plays a leading role, although PLEDIS Entertainment did not want to state so explicitly as this might suggest to fans that they could find the filming location themselves. PLEDIS Entertainment avoided overly threatening language in the post, possibly because such spectating isn't actually illegal. However, they did note that such event could cause delays and other damage to the production.
Consequently, PLEDIS Entertainment requested that fans avoid congregating in areas to see Hwang Minhyun if he is not at a publicly disclosed location. PLEDIS Entertainment stated that if this request is not honored, his fan clubs may face revocation of favored status and requirements to see Hwang Minhyun at official events may be intensified. "My Lovely Liar" will premiere on tvN this coming July 31st. It is not yet known which international streaming services, if any, will broadcast the drama.
