Jang Ki-yong claimed that he'd been planning his days in advance, and thinking to himself that he'd executed them perfectly when his days go as plans.
For personal motivation, Jang Ki-yong said that he'd been thinking a lot of Lady Gaga's song Always Remember Us This Way from A Star is Born as a motivational. Jang Ki-yong stated that he'd gone a long time without speaking to fans in part because he wanted to make sure that his return was appropriately cool, and that he needed time to think over and refine his approach. Jang Ki-yong said that he wanted to be remembered a person who believed in himself, who made his own life.
