[HanCinema's News] Ji So-yeon Gives Birth to a Daughter

On January 23rd, Ji So-yeon publicly confirmed that she gave birth to a daughter on January 20th, three days prior. Purportedly she had been resting in the hospital this entire time, and had to spend her Lunar New Year's Holiday there. Ji So-yeon thanked those who had prayed for her and gave her happy messages. In pictures released alongside the post, Ji So-yeon can be seen in a hospital bed with her husband Song Jae-hee also visible, and another photo contains the baby's feet.

Ji So-yeon also thanked hospital staff, commenting that everyone enters the world this way. Ji So-yeon noted that she felt emotions she had never felt before during this period. Ji So-yeon hopes to recover quickly, and to be able to greet people again one by one. She expressed hope that 2023 would also be filled with happy events and memories. Ji So-yeon married Song Jae-hee in 2017. In 2021 they mentioned being infertile- but later announced her pregnancy in August of 2022.
