[HanCinema's News] Kang Ki-doong Makes Special Appearance in "Our Beloved Summer"

On January 18th actor Kang Ki-doong made a surprise appearance in the fourteenth episode of "Our Beloved Summer" which is airing on the broadcast network. He played the role of Jin-seop, the ex-boyfriend of Sol-i, who is played by Park Jin-joo. Jin-seop had actually briefly appeared in the fifth episode. He had invested in Sol-i's bar, but the very same day she discovered that he had cheated on her.

The special appearance was made possible by Park Jin-joo, with whom the actor appeared in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" back in 2021. They had strong chemistry in that drama, and afterwards became friends. In a statement, Kang Ki-doong said that he was very glad to have had the chance to perform alongside Park Jin-joo again. Kang Ki-doong is currently more active in stage productions than screen productions. "Our Beloved Summer" had ratings of 4.1% in its fourteenth episode.
