Kim Soo-hyun made his long-awaited cameo appearance on "Crash Landing on You" last weekend. Though "Crash Landing on You" had been coy about what exact role he would be playing in the drama, Kim Soo-hyun ended up reprising his role from the 2014 film "Secretly and Greatly".

In that film, he played a North Korean special operative doing long term undercover work in a South Korean neighborhood as the local neighborhood idiot. His character was easily identified by his trademark green tracksuit.
The cameo appearance was made possible by screenwriter Park Ji-eun, who was the credited screenwriter for the drama "My Love from the Star" in 2013, where Kim Soo-hyun also played a leading role. Kim Soo-hyun's most recent leading role in a drama was in "Producers" from 2015. He is currently set to make his comeback with the drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", which is expected to start airing on tvN sometime in July and where he will co-star with Seo Yea-ji.
