[HanCinema's News] Lee Eun-saem Starts 2022 Off Strong With "The Red Sleeve" and "All of Us Are Dead"

Actress Lee Eun-saem is twenty-two years old. As a child, she dabbled in some acting work, namely the drama "Green Coach" as well as the film "Fly, Penguin" from 2009. But it was only a few years ago as a teenager that Lee Eun-saem returned to screen acting with a role in the 2017 film "Midnight Runners" as a kidnapped high school student. But 2022 has already seen a big boost to her profile due to noteworthy appearances in two popular dramas.

In the "The Red Sleeve" which started airing in 2021, only ending this year, Lee Eun-saem played Yeong-hee- one of the peers of the concubine Ui-bin who is played by Lee Se-young. However, Ui-bin is not a concubine at the start of the drama. In her original identity as Deok-im, she need relies on counsel and relationships to get through the royal politics. Yeong-hee stood out among them as calm and wise, giving exceptionally good advice especially considering her young age.

Then in "All of Us Are Dead" Lee Eun-saem is part of another ensemble in a completely different kind of role. This is not just a matter of genre- in the high school zombie thriller Lee Eun-saem plays Mi-jin, a rough and often hostile student who transitions to being a loyal friend in the latter part of the series. Lee Eun-saem has quickly made a name for herself, given the opportunity for prominent roles, increasing hopes for her career in the near future, though she has no confirmed future projects.
