A spokesperson for the luxury watch brand Longines recently confirmed that the Swiss company is an official sponsor of "Military Prosecutor Doberman" which is currently airing on tvN. Longines had been prompted for comment by the explicit appearance of one of their watches as an important plot point. In the second episode of the legal military drama, Jo Bo-ah's character buys Ahn Bo-hyun's character a watch to thank him for having helped her out of a hostage situation in the first episode.

The scene inspires some drama as the gift is unusually expensive, and explicitly stated to be the kind of watch that a woman buys for a boyfriend. This, in spite of Jo Bo-ah's character having explicitly and curtly told the shoplady that this was not her intent. A spokesperson for Longines claimed that they hoped "Military Prosecutor Doberman" would convey the skillful innovation and elegance inherent in the brand. "Military Prosecutor Doberman" streams on Rakuten Viki worldwide.
