The upcoming romance drama "Love in the Big City" has had its release dated move up from October 2nd to October 1st. The announcement comes with new character posters for the film. In one, lead actress Kim Go-eun is featured with a quote stating that she hadn't calculated that she would do romance during this time. In the other, lead actor Steve Sanghyun Noh is featured with a quote asking that if something isn't love, how do you know?

Previous versions of the theatrical poster featuring both actors were labeled as having an October 2nd premiere, with others simply stating that the film would come out at some point in October. All the posters highlight how "Love in the Big City" is currently screening at the Toronto International Film Festival. Of course, by the time the movie starts to circulate in South Korean theaters, TIFF will have already concluded.
The change in the release date of "Love in the Big City" is most likely due to the recent proclamation of the South Korean government that October 1st will be celebrated as Armed Forces Day this year. October 1st falls on a Tuesday, and would not normally be considered an appropriate opening day for a film. "Love in the Big City" is based on the novel of the same title by Park Sang-young.
