Following Lee Jin's frank discussion of her early marriage on the JTBC variety show 'Camping Club' interest has been drawn as to who her husband is. For privacy's sake the man's name has not been revealed, as he is not a celebrity, though his voice did appear on the program, however briefly, during a phone call.

The two met in 2014 via an introduction through mutual friends. At this time Lee Jin had stopped doing public celebrity work, so the relationship was not considered news. Ultimately they got married in Feburary of 2016 at a small ceremony in Hawaii. By agreement ahead of time they then began their married life together in the United States, where he worked, and are currently living in New York.
The husband is six years older than Lee Jin and holds American citizenship. He works in the finance industry. He is reportedly one hundred eighty centimeters tall and has a warm disposition. Limited photos of him in the wedding ceremony have been released by Lee Jin's agency, King Kong Entertainment.
