On September 5th, the Good Data Corporation released the latest iteration of the Good Data Report, which measures the popularity of serial dramas via social media references. The Joseon-era romance "My Dearest" hit first place for the fifth week of August, defined as August 28th to September 3rd. The drama has been in tough competition with "Mask Girl" on Netflix and "Moving" on Disney Plus in terms of viral popularity in South Korea.

"Mask Girl" was the top drama for the third week of August while "Moving" was the top drama for the fourth week of August. "My Dearest" has quadrupled its social media presence compared to its first week on air in early August, mirroring similarly impressive ratings growth from 5.4% in its first episode to 12.2% ratings in its most recent episode, the twelfth of a planned twenty. Lead star Namkoong Min has been the most popular performer for four straight weeks.
Ahn Eun-jin has been close behind as the second most popular performer for three straight weeks. Elsewhere, "The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch" finished its run on tvN having failed to ever take the top position. Twenty-seven actively airing dramas had their social media references analyzed by the Good Data Corporation to come to these conclusions.
