[HanCinema's News] New Stills Released for "Sweet Home"

On December 1st Netflix released new stills for the upcoming drama "Sweet Home" which will air on the streaming platform. "Sweet Home" is based on the webtoon of the same title. It stars Song Kang in the leading role as a teenager who undergoes many strange occurences after losing his family and home. The stills in question have an ominous quality, featuring bloodied characters with intense expressions holding makeshift weapons in the face of some unknown threat.

The webtoon version of "Sweet Home" features people who could transform into monsters at any time. Consequently, people are frequently on edge and need to be ready to fight at a moment's notice. Lee Jin-uk and Lee Si-young can be seen expressing definite confidence in their roles as a mysterious troublemaker and a special forces soldier turned firefighter. This charisma is likely to manifest in leadership roles for the two in this strange, disturbing world.
The photos also give more of a spotlight to ensemble roles, confirming that "Sweet Home" will indeed be centered around an extended cast of characters. Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si will a dedicated pair of siblings. Kim Nam-hee-I will play a humanities teacher. Kim Kap-soo and Kim Sang-ho will play medically challenged persons who prove to be of critical importance due to their expertise in weapons construction. "Sweet Home" will premiere on Netflix worldwide on December 18th.
