[HanCinema's News] Park Jung-bok Appears in "Big Mouth"

This past August 6th actor Park Jung-bok made an unannounced appear in the legal thriller "Big Mouth" on MBC. There, he played the role of Ko Tae-sik, an assassin who had snuck into prison to carry out an assassination attempt against the lead character played by Lee Jong-suk. Park Jung-bok attracted attention from viewers for his unnerving performance, even as subsequent events revealed that his character had only taken the job to obtain funds to pay for his wife's surgery.

Park Jung-bok works primarily as a stage actor, but has shown strong instincts in terms of screen projects this year. He has also appeared in the wildly popular surprise hit "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" as Prosecutor Choi. Between these two performances, Park Jung-bok stands an excellent chance of being able to take on more of these smaller roles in future screen projects. "Big Mouth" had ratings of 8.6% in its most recent episode, the fourth, in which Park Jung-bok appeared.
