J,Wide Company, which represents actress Kim So-yeon, recently released new stills of the actress for an advertising campaign she is currently doing for the jewlery brand Trendacism. In the relevant photos Kim So-yeon can be seen modeling a large number of jewelry pieces for the brand. The photos also have a vaguely sinister air, calling to mind the role "Kim So-yeon" has in "The Penthouse" series of dramas as a sinister villainess.

Despite the inherently negative depiction of her character, Kim So-yeon has gained a powerful reputation as a villainess through her work on "The Penthouse" dramas, consistently having the most distinctive look of the main characters despite also being among the least sympathetic. The role has been a major boost for her career. "The Penthouse 3" had ratings of 17.1% in its most recent episode, the fourth, which aired on June 25th.
