The abrupt return follows a report from Seoul police on April 4th that Roy Kim was a known participant in Jung Joon-young's chatrooms. The news did not come as a surprise, as Jung Joon-young and Roy Kim were long known to be friends.
Roy Kim's agency stated that Roy Kim came back to cooperate with the investigation. They stated that he wants to get back to his studies soon, but will act as necesary to satisfy the demands of authorities.
