By William Schwartz | Published on
According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on June 18th, "The Roundup" has officially passed the eleven million viewer mark. The action cop film now looks ahead to the twelve million viewer mark, with figures from June 19th showing that the movie still has some momentum left over. On June 18th, a Saturday, "The Roundup" had 235,793 admissions to a total of 11,262,601 admissions. Once the Sunday numbers are in, "The Roundup" will likely be sitting at around 11.5 million viewers.

"The Roundup" has had its momentum blunted somewhat by the new release of supernatural action film "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" which currently has around twice daily admissions that "The Roundup" does. However, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the only film from the past month to give "The Roundup" any serious competition. The current figures for "The Roundup" now have it at seventeenth place on the all-time South Korean film leaderboard, ahead of "Silmido" from 2003.
