[HanCinema's News] "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" breaks the 1.5 million viewer mark

According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on June 20th, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" has officially passed the 1.5 million viewer mark on Monday. "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" had earlier passed the million viewer mark on Saturday. "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" will likely pass the two million viewer mark eventually, though the supernatural action is trending weakly enough it may not hit the total of its prequel.

Back in 2018 "The Witch : Part 1. The Subversion" had over 3.1 million admissions at the South Korean box office. While this was pre-COVID, such a distinction has not prevented "The Roundup" from exceeding the already strong performance of its own prequel "The Outlaws" from 2017. "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the fourth South Korean film to hit a million viewers this year, the others being "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" and "Broker" in addition to "The Roundup" as mentioned.
