[HanCinema's News] Yoon Ji-oh Leaves Country Amidst Legal Controversy

Yoon Ji-oh was spotted leaving South Korea at the Incheon International Airport on April 24th. This news comes soon after Yoon Ji-oh sent an apologetic message to supporters about canceling this week's physical campaign to raise awareness for the Jang Ja-yeon investigation, instead compromising for a mere online one.

Yoon Ji-oh blamed the cancellation on malicious forces who she said might deal harm to those involved. The more immediate impetus may have been a lawsuit filed against Yoon Ji-oh by a writer who helped with her book, 'The Thirteenth Witness'. The writer claims that some of the events written in the book were fabrications.
That same writer also requested an injunction against Yoon Ji-oh leaving the country, for fear that she was trying to evade the lawsuit. When asked about this, Yoon Ji-oh said she didn't need to explain her movements to anyone and was incredulous at the idea that she was a criminal.
