The casting roller coaster for "Falsify" has finally come to a halt as Uhm Ji-won makes her return to the small screen to play a prosecutor opposite Namkoong Min and Yu Jun-sang.

After offering the role to what seemed like every film actress they could find, the producers of "Falsify" rounded out the stellar cast with the addition of Uhm Ji-won as the lead. Now that all the pieces are in place, "Falsify" is looking more and more intriguing; a team of reporters will fight to reveal corruption, with the help of Kwon So-ra, played by Uhm Ji-won, a prosecutor who graduated at the top of her class, but puts people off with her blunt manner.
Namkoong Min will play a reporter out for revenge for his brother, while Yu Jun-sang will be an uptight elite reporter and Jeon Hye-bin will be a photojournalist. It sounds like there could be a fun dynamic between the leads, and the cast is more than sharp enough to pull it off. Here's hoping the writing delivers, too.
"Falsify" is set to premiere on Monday, July 24th on SBS.
