Huh Joon-ho Joins "Mind Doctor" as Kang Ha-neul's Mentor

Actor Huh Joon-ho is joining MBC's upcoming drama "Mind Doctor".

According to Xportsnews on the 24th, Huh Joon-ho has confirmed his appearance in MBC's upcoming drama "Mind Doctor".

"Mind Doctor" is based on a web novel of the same name. The drama follows a genius surgeon who is incapable of feeling emotions and, after a shocking incident, gives up everything and begins working in psychiatry.

Actors Kang Ha-neul and Kim Hye-jun were previously announced as the drama's leads. Huh Joon-ho will play Kim  Man-cheol, the director of Jinin University Hospital and the mentor of Lee  Si-chan, played by Kang Ha-neul.

With this role, Huh Joon-ho will return to the medical drama genre for the first time in 10 years, following KBS 2TV's Beautiful Mind in 2016. Expectations are high for his return as a hospital director, as well as the mentor-mentee chemistry he will showcase with Kang Ha-neul.

Huh Joon-ho recently delivered a powerful performance in Netflix's series "Notes from the Last Row", released in June. With upcoming projects including Disney+'s "Portraits of Delusion" and Netflix's "The Shooter", his addition to "Mind Doctor" further highlights his prolific run of projects.

Meanwhile, "Mind Doctor" is scheduled to air on MBC next year.
