Indie Ani-Festival is introduced in Japan

Korea's independent animation festival 'Indie Ani-Fest' has been invited to ASIAGRAPH to be introduced to Asian animation industry.

In ASIAGRAPH which has been held in Tokyo as a part of Digital Contents EXPO 2008 from October 23rd to 26th, industries of Asian CG and Animation have been gathered. Indie Ani-Fest and its films have been introduced for them.

Yu-Jin Choi, an executive director of Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers which is in charge of introducing Indie Ani-Fest, said, "Indie Ani-Fest is not over, but it is a new beginning" and " We have been here after provincial screening in Tokyo at the beginning of this year. This chance will be a good one that we can have good relationships with Asia's animation industries".

Especially, Producer Jang Hyeong-yoon, who has a lot of supporters in Korea by his films 'A Coffee Vending Machine and its Sword' (from "Indie Anibox : Selma's Protein Coffee") and 'Wolf Daddy', has participated as a 'Representative of Korean Animation'. There was a seminar in the event so it showed how popular Korean animations are now.
