[Interview] Seo Hye-won-II, "My Goal Is to Never Stop Working"

Looking back on 2024, "My Perfect Secretary" Seo Hye-won-II revealed her goal as an actor in 2025.

2024 has been a 'year of challenge' for Seo Hye-won-II. She joined the new crew of "SNL Korea" Season 6.

It was Seo Hye-won-II, a seven-year actress who showed stable acting in the drama, but the challenge in other fields of stand-up comedy would not have been easy. When asked how she felt about this, she said, "I auditioned to learn because it was my first time acting comically. Since it was my first time, I had acting skills that I hadn't done before, so I tried to learn a lot from my seniors".

"We had to develop wit when any situation happened because there were spectators and we were doing it on stage, and we needed the ability to quickly understand the script", she said, revealing that she has grown through "SNL Korea".

To Seo Hye-won-II, who received favorable reviews for her acting in each work, when asked about the acting score which she thinks of herself, she replied, "I'd say 6 just for acting".

"At that time, I think I acted out Kyeong-hwa to the best of my ability. There are parts where it is difficult for me to evaluate my acting as 'well done' so I know it through other people's reactions, but I think the directors, staff, and viewers loved Kyeong-hwa", she said.

What was the driving force behind the continuous filming of two to four works every year since her debut in 2018? Seo Hye-won-II said, "Now, I feel so lucky and happy that I can work".

"I spent a lot of time sitting at my desk without a single line during "Love Scout" and nevertheless, I loved the time I was on the set", she said, expressing her extraordinary affection for acting.

Seo Hye-won-II, who played a bright and warm character in "Lovely Runner", "Love Scout" and her next drama "Spring of Youth". When asked about the role she wants to challenge, she replied, "I want to try acting that can show my calmness someday. I also like dark roles with pain".

She also expressed her greed for action acting, saying that she was interested in using her body enough to attend a dance academy.

She said, "The action school gave me a ride on a wire, and it was so much fun to 'fly'. The martial arts director even said, I'm fearless. So I think I might be good at action".

Recently, Seo Hye-won-II jumped into the youth again with her next film, SBS's "Spring of Youth", following tvN's "Lovely Runner" last year.

When asked about the filming of "Spring of Youth", she said, "We're having so much fun. It's a youth movie, and we're so close that I'm excited to go to the set. I'm so happy to see them and play with them. The director is so energetic. I'm also very energetic, but I'm getting energy from them".

Seo Hye-won-II's 2025 goal, who has worked hard since her debut said, "My wish is to continue acting this year and in the future without getting hurt and to have fun".

Finally, Seo Hye-won-II said, "Thank you so much for loving the work, and I hope the warmth I felt will be conveyed to the viewers as well. I hope it will be a work that can convey a little warmth in my busy daily life".
