CHOEAEDOL Celeb announced on Aug. 12 that Lee Joon-gi was selected as the No. 1 star in its "September Birthday & Debut Anniversary Poll".
The Heart Pick featured actors and trot stars celebrating a birthday or debut anniversary in September. Voting concluded on Aug. 11.
Lee Joon-gi finished first, surpassing Jang Min-ho-I and Young Tak. The result reflected continued support from fans worldwide for the actor, who has demonstrated a wide dramatic range across his career.
Lee Joon-gi is set to appear in "kiDnap GAME", a global thriller series jointly produced by partners from South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. According to a production announcement released by Fuji Television in June 2026, the series is scheduled to premiere in October and will feature Lee alongside Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi.
