ChildFund Korea said Tuesday that j-hope donated W100 million to the charity to be used for children suffering due to the coronavirus epidemic (US$1=W1,185).
The charity cited j-hope as saying, "I hope it can be of some help to children who are experiencing financial and other difficulties".
The singer has made a series of donation over the years.
He gave W150 million to the charity in 2018 to help children pursue their dreams and treat sick children.
In February last year, he donated another W100 million to the charity to help sick children, while giving W100 million to his former high school to support students from low-income families.
The charity expressed its sincere gratitude, saying, "We appreciate j-hope's ongoing commitment to help those in need".
