Jang Dong-jik appeared on the eighth episode of the SBS drama "Three Days" and led the twist of the drama. He played the role of Ri Cheol-gyu who was a North Korean soldier responsible for the sinking of a submarine.
Ri Cheol-gyu's appearance gave president Lee Dong-hwi (Son Hyun-joo) and his security official Han Tae-kyeong (Park Yoo-chun) a chance of a twist, while putting Kim Do-jin (Choi Won-young) in danger.
Jang Dong-jik's trademarks are his eyes and his charisma. Writer Kim Eun-hee-I had him in mind as he worked with her husband Jang Hang-jun, the director, and wrote of the character of Ri Cheol-gyu. Jang Dong-jik responded immediately to her love call even though it wasn't a major role.
Meanwhile, "Three Days" will be aired on the 2nd at 10PM.
