Japanese media praise Kwon Sang-woo's acting

The Japanese media have recently praised actor kwon Sang-woo for his painstaking efforts in filming his upcoming movie "Running Wild". In a report on a visit to the movie's filming set on Aug. 25 in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province, the Japanese sports daily Sponichi wrote on Aug. 29 that "Kwon is doing his utmost to portray a driven detective".
"Kwon's body was covered all over with bruises as he played difficult action scenes without stuntmen. He continued to film even after he hurt his Achilles tendon, and simply bandaged his swollen right hand so that it looked alright", wrote the newspaper.
In "Running Wild" Kwon plays an aggressive detector who prefers to deal with criminals by using his fists rather than words. "I want to get my acting career to a more mature level now that I have turned 30. I will appear with a completely new image", said Kwon.
"Running Wild", in which Kwon co-stars with Yoo Ji-tae, opens in the spring of next year. "
